California Baptist University Academic Scholarships for International Undergraduate Students.
California Baptist University is one of the most prestigious private, Christian universities of Liberal Arts located in Riverside, California. In 1950, it was initially established as California Baptist College. The university has accreditation and affiliation with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and California Southern Baptist Convention, respectively. In September 1950, the Los Angeles Southern Baptist Association started California Baptist College in El Monte. In fall 1950, the college started its operations with 42 students. 120 students were enrolled during the academic year of 1950-51. After witnessing continuous growth over the next four years, the college moved to better facilities in Riverside.
Ambassador’s Scholarship (Incoming Freshmen)
- $12,000 per year
- 3.5 cumulative weighted GPA and above
*Must meet language requirement
Transfer International Scholarship (Incoming Domestic Transfers)
- $8,000 per year
- 3.3 GPA and above
To be considered a domestic transfer student, you must have completed 24 or more units from a regionally accredited institution within the United States.

Athletic ScholarshipsAvailable for men’s basketball, baseball, diving, soccer, swimming, water polo, cross country and track, and golf. For women, scholarships are available for basketball, softball, diving, soccer, swimming, water polo, cross country and track, volleyball, dance and cheer. Music – Vocal, Instrumental and Piano Performance Scholarships
Auditions can be arranged throughout the year. Students are expected to have prepared a selection that shows their range and ability. All styles are accepted.
