Call for Tech & Press Fellows by Oxford/NUJS Alumna: Apply by July 16

Ms. Garg is working towards conceptualizing two NGOs: The HumansTM and The Corporate HouseTM. Both are registered as trusts. The goal of the former trust is to promote human rights and social welfare. The objective of the latter NGO is to work for the advancement of corporate law and scholarship.

About the Vacancies

Tech Fellow (total 4 vacancies: 2 for each of the following categories):

  • Category A: Website Manager (to build/manage a Bluehost website of two of our NGOs)
    Please Note: No coding skills are required as such as WordPress is being used with GoDaddy as the hosting service provider. Hence basic understanding of website designing would suffice
  • Category B: Video Editor (to assist with editing videos for our Youtube channel)

Press Fellow (total 2 vacancies): To assist with a media release, managing social media account (LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter page)

Duration

3 – 6 months. The fellow would be expected to dedicate 20-30 hours per month. There would be reasonable flexibility to allow for the fellow’s commitments such as examination and internship.

Desirable Skills

  • Prior experience in the relevant field needs to be highlighted in the application.
  • Good communication, language and editing skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Time management skills.

The opportunity should enable the students to hone and apply their innovation, leadership and communication skills as the students would work under the personal mentorship of Ms. Garg.

The perks for the vacancies are non-monetary. The researchers may seek benefits such as mentorship, experience certificate, opportunity to attend courses offered by Ms. Garg at her own initiative for law and management students and/or possibly a letter of recommendation.
