JEE Main 2021 new exam dates likely to be out by June end: Check latest updates on NTA JEE here

JEE Main 2021: The National Testing Agency, NTA is expected to announce the fresh examination dates of the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2021 by the end of June. All the candidates who are eagerly waiting for the JEE Main 2021 examination dates are advised to keep a close check on the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Meanwhile, the officials at NTA have denied commenting on the release of the JEE Main 2021 new examination dates. Further, it is expected that the NTA will take the decision regarding the JEE Main 2021 exam dates after reviewing the Covid-19 situation.

Earlier, the JEE Main 2021 was scheduled to be held on April 27, 28, and 30, 2021. However, NTA postponed the examination amid the Covid-19 pandemic and also taking into account the safety and well-being of the candidates and examination functionaries.

Further, NTA in a notice issued on April 18 said, “The revised dates for the JEE (Main) – 2021 April session will be announced later on and at least 15 days before the examination.”

In the meantime, candidates are advised to use this time to prepare themselves better for the examination. They can also take practice (full length/ chapter wise) tests on the NTA Abhyas App from the comfort of their homes.

JEE Advanced 2021 postponed:

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has postponed the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 due to the rapid surge of Covid-19 cases across the country.

“The revised date of examination will be announced at an appropriate time,” read the official notice.

JEE Main 2021: Brief advisory regarding Covid-19 pandemic

Candidates are advised to carry only the following with them into the examination venue:

a) Admit card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
b) A simple transparent Ball Point Pen.
c) Additional photograph, to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
d) Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml).
e) Personal transparent water bottle.
f) Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) in case the candidate is diabetic.
