History of JKBOSE
The JKBOSE or Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education is the main education board of Jammu and Kashmir. The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education is an autonomous body and functions under the administration of the Jammu and Kashmir state government. The board is also referred to as the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education, i.e. JKBOSE.
Functions of Jammu and Kashmir State Board
The main role of the J&K board is to conduct the Class 10th, 11th, and Class 12th board exams. Apart from that, the JKBOSE is also responsible for providing affiliations, discovering talent and nurturing, enhancing the quality of education and developing infrastructure, prescribing courses and syllabus, etc. The Jammu and Kashmir board conducts various exams within the state, including the Class 10th and Class 12th exams for both the Jammu division and the Kashmir division.

JKBOSE Class 10th Results
The JKBOSE Class 10 exams are conducted in two divisions that are the Jammu division and the Kashmir division. The Class 10 exams are approximately taken by over 1 to 1.5 lakh students from both the Jammu and Kashmir divisions. JKBOSE Class 12th Results
The JKBOSE Class 12 exams are also conducted for both Jammu and Kashmir divisions just like the class 10 exams. In 2021, more than a lakh students appear for the Class 12 exams from both the divisions and the average pass percentage was 53%. In the annual 2020-21 and bi-annual (private) class 12th exams, the J&K Board of School Education (BOSE) declared a 79.69 percent pass rate.
J&K Exam Dates and Results
The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education conducts the Class 10 exams and Class 12 exams in two divisions i.e. the Jammu division and the Kashmir division. Generally, both the Class 10 exams and Class 12 exams of both the divisions are conducted in the months of November and December for Kashmir and February and March for Jammu. According to the Jammu Kashmir Board Exam 2021 update, the JKBOSE Class 10th exam was held from 22 November 2021, and that of 12th from 9th November 2021. The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the JKBOSE 12th Result 2021 on 10 February 2022 . Since the JKBOSE 12th pending examinations were canceled, students have been marked on the basis of alternative evaluation criteria.
The result of JKBOSE class 11th will be available on 07th March 2022.
Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education will declare the Kashmir Division class 10th Result 2021 on 14 or 15 February, 2022.
