The Karnataka Common Entrance Test, KCET 2024 exam date has been announced. As per the reports, the exam will be conducted on April 20 and 21, 2023. Candidates who are willing to appear in the exam can expect the KCET 2024 notification anytime soon on the official website: kea.kar.nic.in.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority, KEA Director has stated that the registration process and choice filling shall commence on January 10, 2024. KCET 2024 will be held for the undergraduate common entrance test (for engineering, Ayush courses, veterinary and agriculture subjects) whereas Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (for MBA, MCA, MTech) and Diploma CET.

KCET 2024: How Many Candidates Likely to Appear?

As per the latest reports, over 4.5 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the entrance exam. DCET and PGCET will likely be held on April 18 and 19, 2024. The application form was unique for each course up until this year, but now it will be the same for the first time.

In an interview with reporters, the executive director of the KEA stated that to prevent duplication, the KEA will only accept a single application form for both NEET and CET. Students from outside and nearby Kannadiga communities can take the Kannada Language Test at centers in Bangalore, Bidar, Belgaum, Bellary, Vijayapur, and Mangalore. When submitting an online application, students are asked to provide accurate information. 

They have been requested to complete the form with their accurate Revenue Documents (RD) number; otherwise, the process will not be completed. All information, including the exam date and time, registration deadline, eligibility requirements, age restriction, application costs, syllabus, and pattern, will be included in the notification. Candidates are advised to keep a vigil on the official website for the latest updates on KCET 2024.
