Are NCERT books enough?

As per the Central Board of Secondary Education, the books have been designed in such a manner that it suffices and covers everything related to the curriculum. These books do not form the base only for higher education but also prepares the students for competitive exams such as JEE, AIIMS, UPSC etc. So, all schools should follow only NCERT books.

Another main reason is that NCERT books are the most affordable ones. They can be availed even by a poor student. But books from other authors cover many extra aspects which are not needed and these books are also very expensive. The books are beyond the range for a financially unsound student.
